I had never made pizza on my own before and I was nervous, but oh. my. glob. This is delicious.
1lb Pizza dough
3-4 TBSP flour
4 + 1 TBSP Olive oil, separated
2 tsp Garlic powder
4 TBSP Paleo pesto
1 Smoked apple sage sausage link (vegetarian)
1 Medium tomato, sliced
1/4 cup Spinach
8 oz Mozzarella, whole milk
3 oz Parmesan, shredded
1 oz Goat cheese
Step 1: Preheat oven to 450°F. Roll out dough into a circle, pressing knuckles around to rid the dough of air pockets. Pick it up around the edge and slowly work your way around the entire edge, stretching the dough out. Repeat until crust is desired thickness.
Step 2: Spread pesto on dough, leaving an inch around the edge to create the crust. I found it easiest to use my fingers.
Step 3: Coat pan with 1 TBSP olive oil. Place dough.
Step 4: Crumble sausage. Add toppings.
Step 5: Mix 4 TBSP olive oil and garlic powder and lightly coat crust.
Step 6: Bake on middle rack for 16-20 minutes.
