Ok confession…total pregnancy craving here. But adding to Annie’s white cheddar macaroni and cheese is one of my favorite things to do.
1 Box of Annie’s white cheddar macaroni and cheese
1 Can of tuna, drained
1/4 cup Unsweetened organic coconut milk
2 TBSP butter (I use Smart Balance with extra omega 3)
1/2 cup bell pepper slices, sautéed
5 Jalapeño slices
2 TBSP Jalapeño juices
2 tsp Mrs. Dash’s southwest chipotle seasoning
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
1/4 tsp Onion powder
1/2 tsp Chili powder
1/4 cup Mild cheddar, shredded
Step 1: Make macaroni and cheese according to box. Meanwhile, sauté bell peppers until softened.
Step 2: Stir everything together. EAT!
This has a pretty nice kick to it, so if you’re not into that feel free to use less or totally remove the jalapeños and juice used. That was my favorite part as I’m ALWAYS craving spicy things.1
